The sky asks. You answer.

Your words.
A rhythm to return to.

The Moon Journal gives reflection a gentle structure. New, quarter, and full moons open different prompts; your entries become a record of what you were noticing along the way.

Moon Journal

01 / A place to begin

It is hard to notice change while living through it.

A thought that feels new today may echo something you wrote weeks ago. Writing it down lets you compare those moments. Luvsa connects journal prompts to the lunar cycle and offers a way to revisit past words when the same phase returns.

01

Beginning something small

At a new moon, use the available prompt to name an intention you can actually make room for. A sentence can be enough.

02

Pausing halfway through

Quarter-moon prompts offer a place to reconsider effort, direction, and what may need adjusting. These deeper prompts are part of Pro.

03

Looking back with perspective

At the next relevant phase, revisit what you wrote before. Notice what changed in your priorities or in the way you describe the same question.

02 / The details that matter

What’s inside.

01

Prompts tied to lunar phases

The Journal follows new, first-quarter, full, and last-quarter moons. Each turn of the cycle opens a different reflection opportunity.

02

The current Moon at a glance

See the phase, Moon sign, and illumination alongside the journal context. When no prompt is active, the screen points toward the next lunar moment.

03

A place for your response

Open the available prompt and write in your own words. Your entry can be a brief observation, a question, or a longer account of what feels important.

04

Your previous entries

Return to the reflections you have already saved. The value is in your own record, including the ordinary days and unresolved thoughts.

05

A loop back to earlier words

Pro’s loop-back feature brings back what you wrote on the same phase previously. Compare your words without needing to remember exactly how you felt then.

Journal prompts follow the lunar schedule. Quarter-moon prompts and loop-back are Pro features. Available prompts and deeper readings are identified in the app.

03 / Make it your own

Start with three
small steps.

  1. Open Journal

Check the current Moon and whether a phase prompt is open. If the next prompt is still ahead, note its timing and return when it arrives.

  2. Answer in your own language

Use the prompt as a starting point. Write what you notice rather than trying to match a particular mood or interpretation.

  3. Revisit the next turn

Read your previous entries as the cycle continues. With Pro, use loop-back to compare reflections from the same phase.

04 / An illustrative example

An intention, one cycle later

Imagine someone who wants to make more room for rest. These entries are illustrative, not real journal data.

An example of how to use the feature. This is not a personal reading or real user data.

At the new moon

I want one evening each week without another task attached to it. I keep treating rest as something I have to earn.

At a later checkpoint

I protected the evening once, but filled it with errands the next week. The difficult part is leaving a space empty.

When revisiting the intention

The goal still matters. A shorter pause on a realistic day might be easier to keep than an ideal evening I rarely have.

What has changed in the way you describe the same need?

05 / A few things to know

A little more
clarity.

Will there be a new prompt every day?

Prompts open with the new, quarter, and full moons. The Journal shows the current phase and points to an upcoming prompt when one is not active.

Do I need to write a long entry?

No. A few honest words can capture a useful observation. The prompt is a starting point, and your response can take the shape that fits the moment.

What is loop-back?

It is a Pro feature that shows what you wrote on the same lunar phase previously, giving you a way to compare your reflections across cycles.

Which journal features need Pro?

Quarter-moon prompts and loop-back require Pro. The app marks the relevant prompts and sections so you can see what is available.
