A live lunar companion

A changing Moon.
A moment for you.

Follow the lunar month, explore the turning points, and make a little space to check in with yourself. Select any day to see its phase.

The next four turning points.

AFTER YOUR SELECTED DAY’S NOON · UTC

Astronomical phase and illumination calculated with Astronomy Engine. Daily snapshots use 12:00 UTC; quarter events show their exact UTC time. The Moon illustration shows a conventional waxing-right orientation, rather than your local view. Reflection prompts are interpretive.

What would you like to make room for?

Name one intention you can turn into a small, specific action. It can be as ordinary as a quieter morning.

THE ASTRONOMY

Light, from a different angle.

The Sun always lights roughly half the Moon. As the Moon orbits Earth, we see different amounts of that lit half. New and Full Moon mark opposite phase angles; the quarters sit between them.

Illumination describes the visible lit fraction. It is not the same as the fraction of a lunar month that has passed.

THE REFLECTION

A rhythm you can borrow.

You can use the cycle as a gentle framework: begin, act, observe, and simplify. Your notes don’t have to follow the Moon or prove a pattern. They are a way to hear your own thoughts.
